Within an old fashioned country home there dwells a maker of dolls, needle sculpted and structured by the "Nimble Fingers" of Gerri Drobot, and thence, is the beginning of my business entitled "Nimble Finger Keepsake", and keepsakes they are.

Even before this doll comes into being, it is researched, then placed on my drawing board in my workshop to be sketched out, and then brought forth to fabric.

This doll is made with loving care from the finest fabrics selected from all over the Northeastern United States.  The chosen fabric is then put through a natural dye to give the doll a vintage look.

Each outfit, each pattern, each doll, a separate challenge.  Each doll differs with unique facial features, delicately drawn, patiently hand sewn, hand painted, cut and stuffed.  Next the outfits are made, hand fitted and then hand sewn to fit.

Next comes a special time consuming process of preparing the doll for a waxed look face, which is rarely seen in "these modern times", but I feel it is well worth the effort to make this doll a collectors item.

Last but not least, the hair is hand felted or hand sewn to the head.  I use only the best mohair's and roving's from New England.  this doll is then signed and dated, and comes to you with love and affection from whence they first began.
